First Baptist in the Christmas Parade
In honor of our 200th Anniversary, First Baptist is planning to be in the Christmas parade. We would love to have as many First Baptist participants as possible. You can walk (roughly 1.6-mile) or ride on a flatbed truck. Everyone needs to be lined up a little before 2:00 pm. The lineup for the parade will be on Willis Street behind the Stamper Commons Building (located on SE corner of Broadway and College) on Stephens College Campus. Park at First Baptist, walk through Stephens campus and take the bridge over College Avenue, then proceed to Willis St. We are looking for four people to carry banners and at least 8-10 walkers to pass out candy and cards. Please be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly. Bring your First Baptist Church stocking cap if you purchased one.
