Volunteer with First Kids

Our volunteers are the heart of First Kids, playing a vital role in shaping the spiritual lives of our youngest members. They provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can wonder, grow, and experience God’s love firsthand. Volunteers lead Bible lessons, facilitate activities, help children engage in worship, and serve as caring partners in faith. By building meaningful relationships with children, volunteers help them discover their unique value and purpose in Christ.

Whether assisting with Sunday school, special events, or providing support for families, our volunteers work together to create a welcoming space where children feel seen, heard, and loved. They help make our vision of a vibrant, faith-filled community a reality for every child.

Along with completing this form, attending at First Baptist for 6 months, and meeting with a Pastor, our volunteers who serve in Kids and Youth must complete a background check. If you have any questions, please email Pastor Brittany at

Volunteer Support

At First Baptist, we value our volunteers and the vital role you play in creating safe, welcoming, and faith-nurturing spaces for children and families. To support you, we’ve created short videos that introduce and equip you for your ministry. These videos are designed to encourage you, answer common questions, and help you feel prepared and confident as you serve.
