First Baptist Church Scholarship Program
First Baptist Church Columbia strives to form Christ-like disciples, rooted in authentic community, for the healing and liberation of the world. We are a church that blends biblical faith with intellectual integrity, respecting a person’s right to think freely. As such, we aim to support those that seek to expand their learning, growth, and quality of life through continuing education and training. We recognize that this pursuit is not without significant financial cost. The First Baptist Church Columbia Scholarship Program was established through the generosity of the families of Herbert and Vivian Lionberger, Ralph H. and Jean M. Luebbers, Dell Keepers, and Charles M. Hudson.
The Scholarship Program aims to support those continuing their education and training beyond secondary school. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis. The number of scholarships awarded may vary year to year. First preference will be given to those who follow the intentions of the generous donors, and members of the church community and their families.
