First Baptist Church – Columbia presents a weekend with church historian and progressive Christian thinker Dianna Butler Bass on April 15th and 16th.
Diana Butler Bass, Ph.D., is an award-winning author, popular speaker, inspiring preacher, and one of America’s most trusted commentators on where faith intersects with politics and culture as well as many other topics of religion and contemporary spirituality.
Diana Butler Bass will give a lecture Saturday, April 15th, at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church sanctuary.
There will be a Q & A Sunday, April 16th, at 10:15 am followed by a sermon from the author at the 11:15 am worship service.
Both events are free to attend and open to the public.
