Women of the Church
Missions and service are the operative words when describing the involvement of our FBC women in missions study circles. The Ann Judson Christian Action Circle meets the first Thursday of each month at 1:00 to hear about and respond to the needs of a variety of local and world wide mission causes. They seek to stay informed about needs near and far and then do what they can to make a tangible difference. They may learn that children need blankets, so they make blankets. The may findout that local missions need towels for their residents, so they collect towels. They have created bandages for hospitals and clinics in third world countries. They take seriously the call to share the love of Christ.

Women, God and Food
A new and enthusiastic small group at FBC, the Young Christian Women’s Fellowship provides opportunity for our younger women (and “young” is undefined) to gather to build community, have a relaxing night out, or to take part in some mission projects. The group meets once a month at a Columbia area restaurant and child care is provided as requested. In 2009, the young women organized an advent stuffed animal offering – over 800 animals were collected and shipped to needy children in the former Republic of Georgia.
Currently this group is providing shoe boxes of fun items to the Sol House (a home for teens who need a place to stay). Donations are always welcome for this worthwhile cause. Please drop any donations in the Sol House box located in the children’s wing of FBC.
Men’s Breakfast Group
A great way to start you day – food, good friends, food, prayer, food, Bible study, and more food. The group meets the first and third Thursdays of every month at a local restaurant. Join us for breakfast and more!!
