Prospective Pastor Candidating Weekend
The Pastor Search Committee is pleased a Candidate has accepted an invitation to come to First Baptist church
for a candidating weekend on May 18, 19 and 20.
We hope the entire congregation will take part in the following activities:
Saturday May 19
5:00 p.m. Fellowship Hall - Reception and light dinner
We will provide a receiving line so each of you may personally greet the Candidate. When all have arrived the Candidate will share comments about her background and spiritual journey.
Sunday, May 20
9:45 a.m. The Candidate will preach in the Awakening Service
11:00 a.m. The Candidate will preach in the Traditional Service
12:00 p.m. Lunch in the Fellowship Hall
A called Business Meeting will follow lunch for the purpose of hearing a presentation from the Pastor Search Committee, and a vote on a motion to call the Candidate as our next pastor.
