First Baptist Church of Columbia is a vibrant community of Christ-followers striving not for uniformity, but for unity that can only come through the work of the Holy Spirit. In our call to be one as Christ has proclaimed, we seek to treat diversity with respect and love, and nurture our faith as we journey together in the work of God's Kingdom.
Our Sundays are filled with opportunities to worship God while building a faithful community. We invite you to join us this Sunday to participate in one of our three worship services and connect with one of our small group communities.
Awakening service at 9:15am
Sunday Morning Small Groups at 10:15 am
Traditional service at 11:15 am
We value our kids and students not just as the future of our church, but also the present. Our young people are invited to join in the worship and leadership of our community. Building a foundation of faith while developing a passion for Christ and the Church is essential to all of our ministry efforts.
We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value and love. Our ministries are designed to build community and faith. We offer a mix of life stage/ affinity groups as well as inter-generational opportunities to connect the entire body of Christ.
