Looking for a place that loves children? Trying to find a family of faith where kids grow in faith, serve others, share love, and learn about God’s love? Hoping to find a place where kids interact with many generations?

First Baptist may well be that place!

We offer a full array of children’s ministries including Sunday School, music, First Friends worship, and fellowship activities galore.

Our nursery staff ministers to infants and toddlers from birth to age three in a loving, safe environment.
Kids from age 4 to grade 5 make up the remainder of our children’s ministry.
During the school year, these children enjoy participating in “Ring and Sing” and assisting in mission projects of the church.
On Sunday mornings, classes are offered to help children grow in their relationship to Jesus. . .and during worship (ages 4 to 2nd grade) there is the interactive and innovative First Friends worship.

Donutshop ministries:
Each Wednesday at 10:00am the FBC Donutshop ministries ladies offer a free Christian geared story time for children ages 3-5 at Donut D-lite (located off the Lake of the Woods exit in the Lakeview Mall). Bring your children to participate in this story time complete with story, singing and crafts while you enjoy conversation with other adults. Of course, everyone gets to enjoy the donuts.

Sol House
We are currently providing shoe boxes of fun items to the Sol House. Sol House is a local non-profit home for teens who need a place to stay. Donations are always welcome for this worthwhile cause. Please drop any donations in the Sol House box is located in the children’s wing of FBC.
Throughout the year, we offer Fun activities such as Trunk or Treat, hot chocolate and cookies before the downtown Holiday Parade, an Easter Egg hunt, plus a free Vacation Bible School and much more. It is our heartfelt desire that each child come to know Jesus personally and becomes an integral part of his ministry on earth.
